The +noun (plural or singular)

 কোনো Noun দিয়ে যদি প্রানী বা বস্তুর বা বিষয়ের সবকিছুকে নির্দেশ করে তাহলে সেই শব্দটির আগে The বসেঃ  এই ক্ষেত্রে The+ noun সিঙ্গুলার হিসেবে বিবেচিত হবেঃ 

যেমনঃ 

শিয়াল খুব বিপজ্জনক প্রানী নয়ঃ  The jackal  is not really a dangerous animal. (= Jackals  are not really dangerous animals.)

ক্যাঙ্গারো শুধুমাত্র অস্ট্রেলিয়াতে পাওয়া যায়ঃ

The kangaroo is found only in Australia. (= Kangaroos are found only in Australia.)

হার্ট শরীর জুড়ে রক্ত প্রবাহিত করেঃ 

The heart pumps blood around the body. (= Hearts pump blood around bodies.)
